REWIRE YOUR BRAIN FOR SUCCESS Step 2: Create your Power statements &Visualize daily

Okay guys! We are going to Rewire ours brains for Success In four easy Steps!

Yesterday, we talked about Step 1: Write it Down!

“1) Write them down! Statistics show people who write down their goals have over an 80% higher success rate of achieving them. Start a Goals journal. Make sure they are SMART goals- specific, measurable, achievable, results-oriented and time-limited.

A) Create a plan made of small doable steps to get you where you want to be, with timelines. Review your plan daily.

B) Write down your compelling reason for wanting the goal. Write it with passion, with feeling, with energy.”

So today is Step 2

2) Create 3 to 5 believable positive power statements that will keep you on track. Make them juicy enough to excite you and keep you motivated. Use the present tense.

  HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you create a Personal Power Statement you are power-broadcasting your intention into the universe. The deeper the you in you that broadcasts this, the more powerful the broadcast. You are demonstrating to the Giver of Things (we’re staying away from religious terminology so everyone can relate easily) that you are serious about what you want (which is why you’re putting the time you’re putting into this). Another way to understand this is to remember when you were younger when you may have focused the sun’s energy through a magnifying glass to see how it would burn a piece of paper? All you had to do was use the right tool, hold it steady and close enough and it worked. Remember? How amazed you were that something so simple could be so powerful and cause the paper to burn? That you made this work? Are you starting to get a sense of how this works?
MORE ABOUT THE LAW

“The more definite you are about what you want, the more definite the Giver of Things is in giving it to you.”

Think about this: If a person has a foggy intention, or no intention at all let’s say, however much the universe would like to give to him/her (the universe always wants to give), it does not honestly know what to give. Instead, the universe either gives nothing or gives just to the extent of what it knows the person wants (it typically does not read into or try to figure out foggy intentions).

When you create your power statements, then use them to:

    A) Visualize what it is like having achieved your goal. Visualize you are living it- taste it, feel it, smell it, see it, revel in it.

I often spend at least once a week test driving my next car. Every week. I sit in it and imagine me sitting in my driveway. (Things don’t move me but understand that in order to have the car, I will have had to accomplish far more important things) I drive through the neighborhood I want to live in. I imagine my daughters in the backyard. I imagine cooking breakfast for the family. I pull into the driveway of a house for sale and visualize taking down the sale sign. EVERY WEEK.

Past tense? I imagined at 9, 10, 11 years old of being in the studio recording my own song. Every time I played, I imagined I was recording in a studio. At 14, I wrote and recorded my first original song for another artist. I dreamed of playing for Grammy winners. At 16, I was. I imagined touring….before 25, I was. It works guys.Seriously…..it works.

How does the RAS (reticulate activating system) play into this?

What we need to do is to create a very specific picture of our goal in our conscious mind. The RAS will then pass this on to our subconscious – which will then help us achieve the goal. It does this by bringing to our attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as ‘background noise’.

The reason psychocybernetics is so important is that the RAS will prevent our goals messages getting through to our subconscious if our self-image is not congruent with our goals.

Enjoy this journey……remember every step…..you have begun a pivotable moment in your life…..30 days from now……you can make the leap from good to great and from great to phenomenal!

Let it marinate folks…..
